We Train Future Professional Dancers
The alumni showcased here turned the technique, artistry and discipline taught at Evergreen City Ballet into professional dance careers. Our classes emphasize the technique and musicality required by major companies and we couple this training with performance opportunities to build their stage and production experience.

Karen Moore
Karen danced with Nevada Ballet Theater after ECB and is currently an ensemble dancer at Tournament of Kings, Las Vegas

Madeline Miller
After ECB, Madeline danced with Pacific Northwest Ballet before pursuing a BFA in Dance from Univeristy of Arizona and working as a company dancer at American Contemporary Ballet.

Alexa Domenden
Following ECB, Alexa was a company dancer for many years at Oregon Ballet Theatre.

Ainsley Montemayor
Following ECB, Ainsley joined the professional division at Pacific Northwest Ballet followed by a company role at Nevada Ballet Theatre. She continues to guest artist and teach, including here at ECB.

Andi Martin
After ECB, Andi travelled to Amsterdam and Salzburg to dance with Salzburg Ballet. She continued her dance career as an instructor, ballet mistress, and director of ECB's elementary programs for many years.

Ashley Montague
Following performances on America’s Got Talent, Greatest Showman Live, and Cirque De Soleil on Broadway, Ashley founded American Circus Theatre and holds the Guinness World Record for Longest Duration Balancing Pointe on the Shoulders. Ashlee continues to work in TV and stage around the world with her dance partner and husband, Richard.

Bennyroyce Royon
Following ECB, Bennyroyce received his BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. He performed on Broadway in The King and I and danced with The Metropolitan Opera including Madame Butterfly. He founded his own contemporary company in NYC and served as ECB's Artistic Director from 2019-2021.

Brianna Penrose
You may recognize Brianna from the Top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance, Season 15. She is currently dancing professionally in NYC with akompany.

Denali Weyer
Denali danced with The School of Ballet Arizona and Oregon Ballet Theatre's OBTII company after ECB. Later returning to ECB as a core faculty member, Denali continues to teach and choreography at ECB as well as coordinating Nutcracker rehearsals.

Ross Freeman
Ross left ECB at 16 to study year-round at Boston Ballet's Walnut Hill School of the Arts, followed by a full college scholarship to Univeristy of Arizona. Currently dances with Boulder Ballet.

Ava Carver
Following her training at ECB, Ava danced as a company artist at Ballet Arizona, a principal dancer at Northwest Arkansas Ballet and a guest artist in Ames, Iowa. (Shown here with fellow alumni Ross Freeman as guest artists in Ames' Nutcracker.)

Charmaine Butcher
One of our most recognized contemporary ballet dancers, Charmaine recieved scholarships to The Julliard School, LINES Ballet, and Dance Chicago. She continues to work professionally as a freelance and guest dancer and regular with Post:Ballet (Berkley Ballet Theater).

Erika Klein
Erika joined Pacific Northwest Ballet after graduation, followed by Omaha Dance Project while successfully pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Creighton University in Omaha.
It starts long before they graduate. Our pre-professional students are selected to spend summers with some of the best companies in the world.
